Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: Eric Dolphy – Out to lunch – RARE Original MONO Vinyl LP album from 1964.

Original MONO issue.

Blue Note records.

USA pressing.

This is a genuine original 1964 USA issue.

The run out groove has the "EAR" symbol (pretzel like shape) engraved. Also has “Van Gelder” stamped on the run off too.

Vinyl Condition: G/VG (The second track on side 1 has some scratch marks which cause a few loud clicks but no sticks or jumps. There are general light marks, light scuffs and some light lines etc but overall good condition and plays great. Sound quality is great and plays nice and loud. The record really is a pleasure to listen to).

Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Original polylined inner).

Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Edge and corner wear. Bottom right corner is visibly worn and slightly split. Spine is worn and text is unreadable. There are foxing marks and some dirt marks in places in keeping with its age really. There is edge and corner wear. Slight pen mark to the front, top right corner. Overall sleeve is good and is tidy for its age).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
