Eric Dolphy ' Eric Dolphy live in Paris, 1964 ' SINNER LADY RUBY plain black label with paste cover - rec. live at 'Le chat qui peche', Paris on June 11, 1964 - originally issue as 'Last recodings' on DIW 25020 and on West Wind 016 both in 1977 - this is the 2015 limited edition numbered 30/55 on back cover - on trail-off (dead wax) has 'Ruby A' and 'Ruby B'Eric Dolphy : bass clarinet - Donald Byrd : trumpet - Nathan Davis : tenor sax - Jack Dieval : piano - Jacques Hess : bass - Franco Manzecchi : drums - Jacky Banbou : conga (on 'Naima' only) Side A : Springtime Side B : Serene - Naima
Visual grading : record is VG+ to EX- full luster, light wear, very clean except for three light evident tiny scratches at the last part of side B. Rest of record is absolutely mint. Clean label with minimal spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG+ to EX- plays well with loud and clear sound throughtout all record but the three above mentioned scratches cause two different repeated ticks, the first has 10 light ticks and the second 8 light ticks Cover grading : paste cover is EX light wear
