Description

Eric Dolphy on New Jazz 8236

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped pressing of Eric Dolphy “Outward Bound” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8236.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice.   The laminated cover is bright and clean throughout; the top seam shows a ½” break at the opening and small flakes 1 ½” from the spine; the bottom seam has ¼” wear at the opening a few small flakes toward the spine.

Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Jaki Byard, George Tucker, and Roy Haynes.
