Description

Eric Von Schmidt - Living on the Trail - 1 sided acetate
Do we have an unbelievably rare record here! It's a 1 -sided acetate of Eric Von Schmidt's never-released-on-vinyl "Living on a Trail". Dylan was a huge fan, and guests on this LP included Paul Butterfield, Garth Hudson and Rick Danko from The Band and more. Thought to be lost to the ages, this record was finally released on CD in 2002, but this acetate, dated 3/13/73, is how it was supposed to sound on vinyl! The LP kicks off with "Living on the Trail" under it's original name, Buffalo Robe, and has 4 more tracks on side 1. Unfortunately side 2 has been lost. This is truly a one-of-a-kind release and came from a former Tomato/Poppy Records employee. The vinyl plays nicely, with some surface noise. Do not miss out on your chance to own this one-of-a-kind piece of history, Free shipping everywhere in the world!
