Description
This is one of the most beautiful warm eccentric and scarce private LP I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. Ernest was a long time Portlander who decided to capture the sounds of his childhood through an exhilarating combination of field recordings, analog synthesizers, and intricate zither playing. Ernest wove an aural tapestry of the city that is both intimate and hauntingly beautiful. This LP is from 1975, self-released on his Thistlefield record label. No reissue exists (for now), it is a little under the radar, but quite a monster! You can put this on and simply fade away into indelible memories, forgotten time periods, with a cross-section of feeling like your in space, and cheating the time-space continuum. This is quite rare even here in Portland, very few copies seemed to survive the sands of time.... <P>
Vinyl Condition: NM (absolutely gorgeous near mint, it looks almost unplayed, it would be quite challenging to find a better copy)
Cover Condition: Weak VG+ (NO splits, wringwear, seam wear, or water damage! Simply a little writing by its former owner in the upper left hand corner, and a small grime mark in the lower right area)

I've been a record collector myself for about 7 years, I have over 2,000 records, I understand what is expected of a seller, I grade using visual and actually playing the record to maximize accuracy, I always strive to grade to the best and most accurate way, My Grading Scale is: SS (still sealed), M (mint, no mint minus, for me this grade will only ever apply to something I personally unsealed, and had zero defects) NM (+ or -), EX, VG+, VG, VG-, G (I don't sell G records, it would have to be something incredibly valuable/rare).
