Description

Selling a very nice copy of Ernst Levy performing live at M.I.T. BEETHOVEN PIANO SONATAS. This is the extremely rare original recording released on Unicorn UN LP 1033 during the 1950’s. The recording was produced at the famous Kresge auditorium and the recording is superb- great audiophile sound.

Piano Sonata in E Major, Op. 109

Piano Sonata in A-flat major, Op. 110

The limited edition compilation 2 disc CD set that contains some of the same Unicorn recordings done during this period, produced by Marston, sell for $150 + if you can find one.  Finding the original Unicorn LP and in this superb condition is a rarity. Don’t let it get away.

Cover: VG++ some slight seam splitting in the middle of the bottom. Clean, glossy cover and back is clean as well.

Record: NM Extremely clean, sleeve marks here and there. Very glossy.  Sounds terrific on my Techincs SL-1200 using a Denon D-103R cartridge.

This has been cleaned using Nitty Gritty cleaning solution on a KAB record cleaning machine. You won't be disappointed!  Thanks and feel free to email with any questions.

I am happy to ship internationally. Check out some of my other classic jazz LP's that I'm sadly parting with.
