Description
I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, alternate versions, and novelties.
This lot is for a 7" vinyl record titled "THE BALLAD OF JOHN AND YOKO" by THE BEATLES. It was released in 1969 under the APPLE RECORDS label #2531, and has the "Subsidiary of Capitol Industries" and Capitol logo at the bottom perimeter of the label on the back side. This was found on the first pressings of this record. Later pressing does not have this logo.
The record is in excellent like-new condition.
The picture sleeve is in very good condition. There are no split seams. There is a strip of brown foxing at the top edge that may have had a sticker on it. (see photo).
NOTE: The record will be inserted in a generic white sleeve to prevent damage by the record's edge to the seams of the original photo sleeve (i.e. record will be in 2 sleeves).
This is a 7" vinyl record and 45 rpm speed.
The other side of the record is titled "OLD BROWN SHOW".
