Description
Mickey and Sylvia "New Sounds" on The VIK label (Sub of RCA) #LX1102 PROMO copy stamped on back cover. Labels and vinyl are solid VG with clear tape sporatic on 3 sides and reddish ringwear on back cover. ..probably rubbing against a red inked colored album for a few decades. Small name written on back. All pics and writing on both front and back are clearly legible. Hard to get 33rpm lp from 1957. Great call and response mainstream R&B for the time. Starting as "Little Sylvia", beautiful guitarist Sylvia Vanderpool had a long and fruitful career first as soulful singer/songwriter and then plowing ground for all women as a top executive at multiple record labels in the 70's/80's. You won't see this lp often so consider my low opening bid and always reasonable shipping. See scan and my other records now on auction...Thanks for looking
