Description
This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction. There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess. Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Lonesome Sundown - Lonely Lonely Me / I'm a Mojo Man
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1958
Notes: Original release with the orange labels. Early single by this relatively obscure artist who released a pretty decent number of singles in the 1950's. Great stuff here, structured very much like the Chicago blues artists, but with a little bit of a zydeco flair.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape, very clean with just one hairline that goes across the Lonely side. Doesn't seem to affect play. Both sides play very well with no noticeable background noise. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are really clean as well, just a bit of light scuffing. This is a very nice copy overall.
Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year. Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
