Description

Record Store Day Sun Records Compilation Volume 3.

I own each Volume, and if you love old rockabilly and the Sam Phillips Sun Records Memphis sound you will love this compilation.

This Edition had lesser known artist (to me) but the music is pure gold. Few ladies seemed to have dominated the Sun Records sound, but on this collection there are some true gems that speak otherwise- the amazing Evie Sands sings "I Can't Let Go" and is pure electrifying. Betty Lavette sings "Let Me Down Easy" and has a voice like no other and Doris Allen belts out "Shell Of A Woman" once again an amazing version. So is this collection. Also including Alvin Robinson, Johnny Adams ("Reconsider Me"), The Rugbys, Randy & The Radiants, Same Dees. 14 artist in all. All great rockabilly-real soulful-rock n' roll "get up and shake your thing" kind of music!

This record is sealed and is mint. 2016 RSD release. A real treasure of music with the original Sun Records sound!
