Exile One - 1st LP - killer West Indian funk
Disques Debs HDD44 19?? (probably 1974/5)
First album by this French Caribbean group (misspelt on the label 'Exilie I') led by Gordon Henderson, this is probably their best and certainly their most sought after record.
A tribute to the motherland, it features a couple of serious groovers carried by the drumming of 'Funky crookie' Oliver Cruickshank.
Standout tracks include the amazing drum banger Funky Crookie, Amidst the lonely and Don't bite the hand. Listen to the snippets and DON'T LET THIS ONE GO!

Sleeve VG+ almost near mint with just a little damage in one corner and bottom
Vinyl VG++ very clean copy which plays like mint. Listen to the samples above.

They are hardly ever in similar condition to records you'd find in Europe or the USA. If you are looking for immaculate vinyl, do not bid.
