Description
Up for sale is an original 1978 pressing of A Factory Sample (FAC-2), the legendary debut release on Factory Records out of Manchester. This is the genuine first pressing — confirmed by the original matrix etchings in all four runout grooves.
Vinyl condition: VG+ — plays excellently, no deep scratches. Sleeve condition: VG+ — original picture sleeve included. Stickers: Not included.
Tracks:
- Joy Division — Digital / Glass
- The Durutti Column — Sketch for Summer / Sketch for Winter
- Cabaret Voltaire — Baader Meinhof / Sex in Secret
- John Dowie — Idiot / You'll Never be Sixteen Again
This is one of the most historically important releases in post-punk history — the record that launched Factory Records, introduced Joy Division to the world on wax, and set the template for everything Tony Wilson built afterward. Original pressings in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
No stickers present — priced accordingly. Everything else is complete and original.
