Description
You are bidding on one very rare item from the legendary Hacienda nightclub in Manchester, England: FAC86R - The Hacienda Must Be Built. This is a cut-out-and-build-your-own-Hacienda comprising of five A4 cards with various elevations from the club's design.
This was originally given away as part of the club's Xmas card in 1983 to friends and business associates and potential bidders should note that this one has one part missing, the front which had two Christmas tree designs as this is the one produced in 1987 and - I am led to believe - sold to the public. I still think this is a very rare item as many people actually did build their own model Hacienda.
Regardless, with the main five parts still included - the main ones with the floorplan and other elevations of the club - it is a very rare and desirable item for any collector of Factory and Hacienda memorabilia. This also has the banderolle that ties the cards together in blue and white (as opposed to the original black and white).
This particular one comes from the personal collection of Hacienda founder Anthony Wilson and can be authenticated as such for the winning bidder on request with a letter of authentication from Tony's son Oliver.
Bidders should note that I have no knowledge of any other items the family may or may not have, I am selling this and a few other items, and I am stating this to save anyone reading this time, not to mention myself and Oliver.
