Very 1St. UK Pressing 1971 on NEON(RCA)label CAT No. NE1.
MATRIX: 0454 A-3. 0455 B-4.
VINYL Side 1 MINT- , Side 2 EXC++.(very,very slight warp). AUDIO Superb virtually like new(3 barely audible background pops Side 2). No noise between tracks except for 1 very light pop between last 2 tracks. Music comes over loud and clear. LABELS MINT. E.J.DAY G/F Matt SLEEVE V/G+(very small sticker removal mark,some surface scuffs edges & corners due to many years storage). Inside G/F very, very clean. Broad solid spine(see pics). Original Black(with the blue print)die cut, poly lined INNER sleeve 4" split on one top edge otherwise V/G. Track listings: Side 1: God Cried Mother / Don`t Mess With Cupid / Dead And Past / Beginning From An End / I Hear You Knockin` / Side 2: You Ain`t No Friend / Sit and Think / Looking For The Red Label / Poor Man`s Bum a Run. Had since new(brother).
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never heard this album i would like to point out something because, i`m sure any prog. rock collector people already know this. On every original copy of this album,right at the start of the track Sit and Think,a second after Andy speaks,there is a split second screech sound. I don`t know if this was intentional by Andy or a master studio fault. It`s NOT a fault on the album.
