NOT SUITABLE FOR A FUSSY COLLECTOR
Released in 1968, I am offering today this hard to find first UK STEREO pressing on the POLYDOR label of this rare debut album from FAIRPORT CONVENTION that's simply titled "FAIRPORT CONVENTION". This album features the beautiful vocals of original Fairport vocalist JUDY DYBLE. The vinyl shows lots of light scuffs and is in very good condition with no sticks or skips etc but there is light crackle throughout.
The album comes complete with its original E J DAY printed fully laminated single sleeve which is in very good condition, it has no stickers or unwanted writing etc but shows some laminate creasing and there is a split in the spine.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays well with no sticks or skips but has light crackle throughout.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually shows lots of light scratches but plays well with no sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The E J Day fully laminated single sleeve is reasonably clean, with no stickers or unwanted writing etc. There is a split in the spine and it shows laminate creasing etc.
The LABELS, The first issue Polydor labels are clean with no stickers or unwanted writing etc.
The INNER, The original generic white inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
