Description

Fairport Convention - Full-House LP (W/L TEST PRESSING + F.O.F LETTER)
Island - ILPS-9130
(Original UK pressing)
1970
Condition :- Cover looks (Mint Minus) >> This is an incredibly rare LP, as it's the very Mega-Rare W/L Test-Pressing issue ( White Label promo copy with handwritten labels. This version has the original track sequencing including 'Poor Will and the Jolly Hangman' which was cut from the final release ) - It actually comes in a plain white cover, but I also got the official issued sleeve with it when I bought it, and what makes this even more special, is, that it was sold to a collector by the person who runs the Friends Of Fairport fanclub back in 1995 - so the letter included with this album shows. It is even typed out on the FOF own stationary with it's design. It really adds to the rarity of this mega rare LP, and you can even see what the collector paid for this LP back in 1995, which was just £200. Well today it has certainly risen highly in value, and is impossible to find. I have owned it for at least 20 years myself, and I have finally decided to sell it. It's very unlikely that many more will turn up for sale, and I don't imagine that many were ever pressed in the first place.
Condition :- Vinyl Record looks (Excellent Plus) >>  Very nice vinyl, which has been well taken care of. Just a white label with hand-written details, as was not for general release at that time
( FREE POSTAGE AND PACKING TO ALL UK BUYERS )
__________________________________________________________________________ >>>>>  (!!!!!  IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ !!!!!) <<<<<
(1) ** Due to a few wars going on abroad and for certain other safety reasons, I temporarily cannot sell/post to buyers in - Ukraine, Russia, Sudan, Congo, Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Myanmar, Haiti, Pakistan, Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Iraq, Israel, Crimea, Palestine, Belarus, Colombia, Venezuela. However, if any Vinyl record collectors from any of those countries have a postal address in a different country, then of course I be happy to do the business with all of you **
(2) ** I visually grade all the Vinyl Records/Etc. I sell by looking at them under bright bulb-light in my house to determine it's overall grading. I always use the UK grading system format of :- [M / M- / EX+ / EX / EX- / VG+ / VG / VG-] The reason I am pointing this out, is because there is two condition grading systems used in the world. Some prefer to use the US Goldmine Grading system instead, which totally ignores all types of EX (Excellent) grading's altogether, and jumps from a NM (Near Mint AKA M-) to a VG+ (Very Good Plus), which can be confusing **
(3) ** For The IMPORTANT Attention of all European and International buyers, whereby I always post all items using the Royal Mail International Tracked Postage System. Whatever the item sells for on Ebay, will be the exact amount that I shall declare on the CN22 Customs Form which I have to fill in and hand over at the Post Office when sending the parcel. I will NEVER declare a lower amount, as certain buyers in the past have tried to request this in order to try and save themselves paying Import Tax Duties. So PLEASE understand that I will never accept that request under any circumstances, as Firstly it is illegal. Secondly it's against the rules of Ebay, and Thirdly, it would automatically invalidate any claim I would have to make, if the parcel got damaged, lost or stolen, so I would end up getting nothing ** __________________________________________________________________________
All of the records will be sent by UK Royal Mail only. I also parcel up the records very well in non-bendable strong packaging and add two cardboard stiffeners. I use strong Cruciform style packaging which will protect the record properly. I never use those horrible bendable envelopes. I know how important that is to collectors, and I also separate the vinyl in it's inlay sleeve from the cover and place it on top of the cover when posting it, which also prevents damage to the cover whilst travelling in the postal system. __________________________________________________________________________
