Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : Polydor Catalogue No : 583035
Matrix : 583035 A//1 - B//1
This UK 1st press is on the plain red Polydor label. It is complete with the earliest A//1-B//1 matrix, the original inner sleeve and laminated Ernest J Day sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl is still exceptionally glossy, there are no signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of very light marks. None of these marks are heavy and have little affect on play. The sound is bold, rich and clear, there are a couple of moments of very slight noise but there is still Excellent audio separation throughout. The label is very bright, the colour is bold and the text is sharp. There is a faint name on one side. There is just slight spindle wear.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has the most sensational mirror like shine. The picture is clear, the black is solid and the text is vivid and sharp. There is a little edge and ring wear and a couple of laminate creases. The rear of the sleeve is bright and clean. The spine is firm with clear text and the whole sleeve is extremely solid
