Description
A rare original 1971 pressing of the classic Fairport Convention album "JOHN BABBACMBE LEE" on the Island record label (ILPS9176) and with the pink rim!
Included is a lyric sheet (the inner sleeve) and a facsimile newspaper of the failed hanging of John Lee - see pics.
This is a collector's item, the sleeve shows a little general shelfwear - see details in pics - but nothing that is not commensurate with the fact that, unbelievably, this album is 45 years old. I can still remember the day I bought it (sigh!).
The vinyl itself is in very good condition and the newspaper is mint.
This LP was bought new by me, and has been well looked after ever since and only used on top-end equipment. It's not been played at all for a few years but has always been stored in the approved way in an even temperature.
