Description
This was Fairport Convention's fourth album and was released on the Island Label (ILPS 9115) in 1970. The label is the Island pink label with the white "i" logo. It is a stereo pressing on heavy quality vinyl. I bought the album shortly after its release and have looked after it well. It has always been stored vertically alongside other albums in a record cabinet.
The condition of the vinyl is excellent and it plays very well with no skipping or jumping. There seems to be hardly any surface noise or sound deterioration after all these years.
The album cover is of a gatefold design. The front cover and in excellent condition, having just the odd spot of white card appearing as it is not laminated. These are very slight and occur just on the edges by the folds. They can just be seen in the first photo.The spine is clearly legible and has no creases or folds. The back cover and inside are also in excellent condition. The covers are printed on heavy weight card by E. J. Day Group.
The album comes with its original lined inner sleeve. It is in good condition with no splits or tears.
