Description
Here we have a superb copy of Liege & Lief by Fairport Convention on the pink Island label. This is a very first pressing as the label states it is Mono, but there was never a Mono pressing of this album released. It bears the ILPS code on the label and dead wax matrices which tells you it's Stereo but all around the label it clearly states that it's Mono. My heart sank when I put the record on my Rega turntable and noticed a slight edge warp, but it plays fine and doesn't have any bad sound at all. Matter of fact it sounds pretty much like a new record. The sleeve is also in fantastic order and would be a jewel in anyone's collection. This is from the collection of a friend who recently passed away so 70% of the takings will go to Macmillan Cancer Nurses so dig deep folks. Come and have a look folks, this really is a cracker.
