Description

This is an extraordinarily rare item. Only 500 copies of this 1975 tour sampler were produced and released to radio stations. It was never made available to the general public.
It was issued on the Island pink rim label, with tour dates for October and November 1975 shown on the front. On the rear of the sleeve lists the tracks on the record - a compilation from all previous Fairport Island releases.
The accompanying copy proclaims Fairport to be riding on the back of a successful US tour and about to undertake a 24-date UK tour. It also shows the line up to include Sandy Denny, along with Dave Swarbrick, Dave Pegg, Jerry Donahue, Trevor Lucas and Bruce Rowland.
This is an exquisitely rare and very, very limited release - hence the starting price.
Sleeve Condition: VG+. One corner is very, very slightly scuffed.
Record condition: VG++. No scuffs, marks or scratches visible on the vinyl.
Matrix No: ISS 2.
