ON OFFER HERE IS A CHANCE TO OWN A STUNNING COPY OF "UNHALFBRICKING" RELEASED IN 1969 ON THE PINK "BLACK BLOCKED" ISLAND LABEL. THIS IS THE FIRST U K PRESSING ( RC IS WRONG HERE AS THIS WAS NEVER RELEASED WITH THE ORANGE EYE) . THIS COPY IS A STEREO U K FIRST PRESS WITH A//1 & B//1 MATRIX NUMBERS AND A FIRST PRESS ERNEST J DAY SLEEVE AND IS ON MEGA THICK VINYL.
THIS IS A RECORD THAT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION AS THE TEXTURED SLEEVE TENDED TO GET EASILY CREASED AND TORN. THIS ONE IS NOT. THIS IS A 1969 UK FIRST PRESS RELEASE ON THE BLACK BLOCKED ISLAND LABEL CAT. ILPS 9102 AND IS A STEREO RELEASE A//1 B//1 FIRST PRESS MATRIX MARKS AND FIRST PRESS ERNEST J DAY SLEEVE. .IN FACT THE SAME YEAR (1969 ) ISLAND WITHDREW THE SHORT LIVED "BLACK BLOCKED" LABEL SO NEARLY ALL LATER RELEASES ARE ON THE PINK "I" LABEL OR EVEN THE PINK RIM PALM TREE LABEL AND RARELY ON THE BLACK BLOCKED LABEL.
THIS RECORD IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. The record plays with NO background noise, There is NO hiss NO pops. There are NO skips NO jumps and NO repeats. The run-ins and the run-outs are SILENT. Any hairlines or scuffs DO NOT affect the awesome sound of this record. TRULY REMARKABLE FOR A RECORD FROM THE LATE SIXTIES.
The sleeve itself has NO writing There are NO tears. There is just a small corner crease ( see photo ). The front, and rear of the textured sleeve are in excellent condition with only a bit of edgewear and cornerwear (see photo) and some spinewear. Once again There is NO writing There is an indentation mark but only seen in a certain light. SO WHAT!!
A GREAT COPY OF THIS RARE RECORD.As for gradings:-
The record itself is easily an EXCELLENT+(if not better) and the sleeve is easily EXCELLENT-
I PLAY ALL MY RECORDS FIRST TO GRADE THEM AND DO NOT RELY ON A VISUAL INSPECTION!!!
A RARE chance to own this CLASSIC!!!!
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS
EXCELLENT
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have some slight wear and or creasing VERY GOOD
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptableI DO NOT OFFER ANY ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD
NEITHER DO I OFFER MINT ITEMS UNLESS THEY ARE SEALED.THE REASON FOR THIS IS I ALWAYS PLAY MY RECORDS TO CHECK FOR FLAWS
DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!!
THIS IS A RARE RECORD!!!!
YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
GOOD LUCK
