Description
On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Fairport Convention called "Unhalfbricking" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Island label (This is the earliest 1st Press label - there were none pressed on earlier labels)!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING!!!! THIS IS THE 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING WITH A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS ISLAND LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS E.J.DAY COVER!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE AS A 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is ILPS 9102 on the ORIGINAL 1969 1st Press Island Label (see picture) and is an ORIGINAL 1969 Stereo 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Fairport Convention at their best!!!! Any fan of Fairport Convention, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The 1st Press record labels are in GREAT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, a VERY small area of 'fading' on one label and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl isnt in perfect condition - but it still plays VERY well and this is certainly a GREAT chance for someone to own this EXTREMELY RARE 1st Pressing at a cheaper price than the HUGE price of a Mint copy!!!! The record has NO scratches, a few light hairlines, a few light scufflines, a couple of VERY light and NON sounding surface marks, and only some VERY light paper scuffing only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD IS STILL VERY SHINY LOOKING!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is EVEN BETTER than the visual!!!! It plays with only a few light clicks/pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle and only some low level background noise in places (only on the occassional gap, and the run on grooves - virtually lost in the music)!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!! The record must grade visually Good++ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - with the playing grade better still!!!! THIS RECORD STILL PLAYS VERY WELL INDEED!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is UNSPLIT and still has its 'poly lining' FULLY intact!!!! The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Cover is in GREAT condition with NO major faults - though like the record it isnt PERFECT (though still VERY presentable)!!!! The cover is VERY flat looking and has NO sticker tears, barely ANY edge wear, some spinal wear (NO splits), slight corner wear, only few light creases (Cover is still VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! However although this cover has NO major faults (NO splits, NO tears, NO rips, NO writing, NO staining, etc) - it does have some rubbing/ringwear to the reverse of the cover, and VERY slight ringwear to the bottom of the cover front. The cover must grade Very Good (Minus)!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A UK 1ST PRESSING - AND WHILST THIS LP ISNT MINT - IT STILL PLAYS VERY WELL, AND IS STILL PRESENTABLE!!!! AND IT IS CERTAINLY A GREAT CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS MASSIVELY RARE LP AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN THE MASSIVE PRICE OF A MINT COPY!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE LP!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE LP in this sort of condition!!!!
