Description
FAIRPORT CONVENTION UNHALFBRICKING ISLAND ILPS 9102 (UK) 1969
matrix numbers: ILPS 9102 A // 1 and ILPS 9102 B // 1
‘white i’ pink Island label record
cover printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd
Mega rare original 1969 pressing with dual ‘1’ and ‘1’ stamper numbers in the blank matrix areas of both sides signifying a UK Island pressing made in late July, August and early September 1969, the same period as the alternate black block label pressings.
The sleeve is in EX condition, the vinyl is in a stunning MINT condition and please check the label scan I have provided to see the superb condition of these.
I've not played the record but don't doubt that it will sound absolutely superb as only original vinyl pressings of this condition and quality can and will positively blow any CD/MP3 version away in terms of depth and quality of sound when played on the right equipment. Discs like this one are getting scarcer and scarcer and there can't be too many chances left to get this record in this format so you can truly hear this folk / psych / rock masterpiece as originally intended.
Please contact me for special delivery prices (recommended for such a rare and valuable record) but I will also send via Royal Mail standard service if requested;

£4.50 to Europe
£6 to the rest of the world
Please note that in the event of loss or damage by the postal service there is a limit to the amount that the royal mail will pay in compensation for standard postal services, whereas special delivery will cover the whole cost of the record
