The Cat no. is ILPS -9102 on the earliest press PINK ISLAND label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK STEREO earliest Pressing..

Labels are the sensational PINK ISLAND format in as near as mint condition.!!! With the white i ISLAND logo below the central holes on both labels to confirm that this is the very earliest issue of this magnificent rarity. Has some very very minor spindle wear but NO damage of any kind!! NO graffiti, NO rips NO tears os stickers and in as near as mint condition.!!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic. Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees There are NO surface marks, NO scratches or blemishes at all!! NO tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!!! . A remarkable visual and impossible to locate even in this in this condition!!! and would therefore grade as mint condition!!!

Sleeve

Earliest issue sleeve is showing only miniscule signs of storage wear, with some light rounding at the corners and light ring wear. The sleeve has NO rips, NO tears and absolutley NO graffitti or sticker marks whatsoever!!!!and is a pleasure to view.The sleeve is in as near as mint condition and a Fantastic collectors item . The Spine is perfectly straight and clearly legible!!. This is a fine example of this sensational PINK ISLAND classic .

Fairport Convention are an English folk rock and later electric folk band, formed in 1967 who are still recording and touring today. They are regarded as the most important single group in the English folk rock movement. Their seminal album Liege and Lief is generally considered to have launched the electric folk or English folk rock movement, which provided a distinctively English identity to rock music and helped awaken much wider interest in traditional music in general. The large number of personnel who have been part of the band are among the most highly regarded and influential musicians of their era and have gone to participate in a large number of significant bands, or enjoyed important solo careers. Since 1979 they have hosted the Cropredy Festival, which is the largest such annual event in England. Individually and collectively the members of Fairport Convention have received numerous awards recognizing their contribution to music and culture.

my records are condition graded visually in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

MINT (M): Unplayed, pristine condition, often still sealed.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in almost brand new condition with no apparent surface marks, full original vinyl lustre, and no deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items are in near perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and/or packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record obviously has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and/or scratches. The cover and/or contents may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine-splits, major discolouration, etc.

Whilst I endeavour to dispatch items as quickly as possible after payment has been received and/or cleared, please allow up to 14 days for delivery (21 days if overseas) before reporting non-receipt.
