Sandy Denny (vocals); Richard Thompson, Simon Nicol (guitar, background vocals); Ashley Hutchings (bass); Martin Lamble (drums). Additional personnel: Dave Swarbrick (fiddle, mandolin); Ian Matthews, Marc Ellington (vocals); Trevor Lucas (triangle). The transitional album before Fairport Convention moved into folk rock with Liege And Lief, on this album they stretch out on longer numbers and introduce Dave Swarbrick, who plays some particularly fine fiddle on the lengthy 'A Sailor's Life'. Richard Thompson continued to mature with 'Genesis Hall' and 'Cajun Woman'. Equally impressive is Sandy's beautiful voice on her stellar composition 'Who Knows Where Time Goes'. Dylan abounds with three songs and 'Percy's Song' is a highlight. To round it up, a UK hit single , with Dylan's 'Si Tu Dois Partir'. Also a bold move for a little-known band was not having their name on the album sleeve.

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have very light signs of use / wear only , with no marks at all...........Outstanding sound quality throughout , with only minimal surface presence between tracks : Graded Visually and Aurally at easily EXCELLENT condition.

Label Condition:- Light wear only , just a litlle spindle use evident : EXCELLENT condition.

Condition of Sleeve:- Very light signs of wear , very clean , crisp and bright , minimal edge wear evident : EXCELLENT condition.

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings ........I grade the discs beneath a light , to be sure of condition..................

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
