Description
This is an ultra rare 10 inch 33 rpm LP record titled “Rajioun (We Will Return)” composed and orchestrated by the Rahbani Brothers and performed by Fairuz. The record was issued on the Lebanese Recording Company LRC label, album MP 1000. The vinyl grades near mint, examined under a flashlight. I spot play graded it and heard very little vinyl noise - the music is very present on this record. The outer sleeve is in NM (near mint) condition. The inner sleeve is also present as well as a lyric booklet with Fairuz’s photo on the front. The record is a mono recording dating to 1957 that was pressed in Italy - this is common as there were no record pressing facilities in Lebanon at that time. This rare record came from a small Fairuz collection - please view my other auctions for those other records (all on the US eBay site)…..
