Faith is the 1987 debut solo album by George Michael that incredibly had six top five singles. In addition to playing a large number of instruments on the album, he wrote and produced every track on the recording except for "Look At Your Hands,” which he co-wrote with David Austin. Faith is classified as pop music, having overtones of electro funk, R&B, and jazz, which propelled it to be the first album by a white solo artist to hit number one on the US R&B charts. It went on to win a Grammy for Album of the Year in 1989.
