Ed Blaney, who played in Greater Manchester post-punk trailblazers The Fall in the early 00s and spent time as their manager, revealed this posthumous album, some eight years since band leader and solo constant member Mark E Smith sadly passed away in 2018. His loss is felt hugely as he was one of the most unique and creative musicians of a generation and for us to get a new Fall release is a welcome feast for the years and at studio album number 32 it's billed as definitely the final Fall album. It's some return and among the highs here is the single '30 Degrees', a ttrily ransfixing slice of darkly atmospheric psychedelia. In terms of production values it's right up there - and Fall fans will surely be pleased to get a final fix.
