This is the wonderful ultra rare single “Scene Through The Eye Of A Lens” released in 1967 by Family. Released on the Liberty label before the band signed to Reprise, it failed to sell in any significant numbers making it the rarity it is today. Written by Chapman and Whitney the record itself is recognized as a psychedelic masterpiece, but also having the characteristic Family sound. The track has never made it onto any other compilation album, (vinyl or CD) and is therefore exclusive to the 7inch format. This great psychedelic single was a forerunner of the great music to come on albums such as Music in a Dolls House and Family Entertainment..

The Record is graded Vg + overall. The labels are clean with clear readable titles and no major defects, no marks or writing. The vinyl has no scratches or scuffs just a few surface handling lines. The record plays well with no skips or jumps. There is some light surface sound audible during the quieter opening section of the song , but nothing to spoil the music.

Overall, a nice copy of this rare single, and a great musical treat. Don`t miss out. The record comes with the original Liberty company sleeve is graded excellent with no rips, tears, marks or writing.

Grading system used is from Record Collector:- Mint, Excellent, Very Good, with +/- to distinguish borderline grades.
