Description

Up for auction is a copy of The Fantastic Baggys’ Tell ‘Em I’m Surfin’ LP, released circa 1964 on Imperial, cast no LP 9270, a mono copy, and a guaranteed original pressing. An early PF Sloan project, this LP has always been a difficult find, and is a terrific LP too, full of summer & surf classics like Summer Means Fun, This Little Woody & the title tune.

Condition: really not bad at all. The cover has some edge wear, but no splitting to speak of, and no writing or cut out marks etc. Vinyl is equally well preserved, with no serious marks at all, only a couple of minor (1/2 cm or less) surface scuffs. Certainly a VG+ all round, maybe even better.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor), following Record Collector’s grading guidelines, with an extra + or – here & there to separate the wheat from the chaff. I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
