Description
This is an overall fine original U.S. pressing copy of the rare debut LP by the Farm Band, released in 1972. The group was associated with a quasi-monastic commune established near Nashville (its members at the time are pictured inside the gatefold jacket). They released four self-produced LPs through the 1970s. Their debut mixes shorter country and folk songs with extended tracks with lots of guitar. The gatefold jacket's main flaw is splits in both seams of the top half of the jacket (top: 6”, bottom: 2+”). It also has a small tear and some residue from a sticker on the front cover; some ring wear, scuffing, and staining on the front and back covers; and light seam wear -- overall VG(+). The discs are clean with a few fingerprints and some light scuffing, and play with some light surface noise -- EX(+). The record comes with a large poster (EX+) and two custom inner sleeves (both with the same info on them).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
