This British Mod Punk sampler from 1979 titled A MANCHESTER COLLECTION.....and you are bidding on the original first UK pressing (= ERSTPRESSUNG). Released on ‘Object’ records in 1979 (catalogue number OBJ 003). Here you can listen to fantastic non-7“ tracks by legendary melody punk/powerpop band FAST CARS titled ‘Why’ and ‘What Can I Do’. Both tracks are catchy melody-makers, played with power & cleverness. These FAST CARS are the same band who released The Kids Just Wanna Dance single in the same year. You can also listen to the Mod influenced smashers ‘You Are The One’ and ‘Night Rally’ by GROW-UP. Both I.Q. ZERO tracks named ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘I Must Obey’ are goodie too. This rarity also includes two tracks by FIREPLACE, two tracks by PICTURE CHORDS, two tracks by SLIGHT SECONDS and one track by MANCHESTER MEKON, PROPERTY OF..., VIBRANT THIGH and F.T. INDEX. Don’t miss this great’n’rare album.

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €35, $50 or £30 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional €2, $3 or £2. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail.
