Continuing JAZZ auction series  of original Classic Jazz, Bop, Cool Jazz plus select jazz vocal and pop vocal LPs and 10" albums -followed by some choice avant garde and outside jazz plus original issue Brazilian / Bossa Nova / Samba and Latin Jazz/Percussion artists as well as a few very rare Experimental/Electronic LPs.

Labels included here are Blue Note, Prestige, Roost, Clef, Nocturne, Discovery, Contemporary, Pacific Jazz, Verve, Atlantic, Folkways, Arhoolie, Odeon, Finnadar, ECM, WATT, BASF, Impulse, CTI, Capitol, RCA Victor and a few others. Most of these records are in VG+ to VG++ condition, with a few NM and a few VG ...many quite scarce.

COVER: VG++
~Extremely vivid, unfaded front cover has a mere wisper of wear and tiny tan spot at bottom edge. Back is clean and bright with no wear. Light toning at edges and small nick at top left edge of back paste-on slick. Solid seams and spine, with 2 spots of wear on bottom seam. No splits.

VINYL: VG++
~Very close to NM, with only faintest sleeve mark visible in hard bright light. Plays NM throughout. Deep Groove, Lexington Ave. address BLUE NOTE labels are pristine both sides.

STRICT, CONSERVATIVE GOLDMINE Ratings

The 1st USA issue of any recording by this great Belgian vibrahone player. Very little at all issued in the years since. Extremely scarce record in any condition.

The combo features Nat Peck on piano along with Belgian born Bobby Jaspar and other top European musicians.

The Van Gelder "EAR" is etched into the dead wax on both sides of the vinyl.

It is clearly etched just before MATRIX # (BN-LP-5061-A) on SIDE 1
and just after MATRIX # (BN-LP-5061-B) on SIDE 2.
