The impact of Faust cannot be overstated; their debut album was truly a revolutionary step forward in the progress of "rock music".
The black X-ray of a fist on the cover graphically illustrates the hard core music contained in the grooves, an amalgamation of electronics, rock, tape edits, acoustic guitars, musique concrete, and industrial angst.
The level of imagination is staggering, the concept is totally unique and it's fun to listen to as well.
The fist on the cover is that of a friend of the group's, Andy Hertel ("Faust" being German for "fist")

LABELS: The labels are like new - clean and bright with no unwanted marks/writing and no evident spindle traces - this copy has possibly never been played
VINYL Visual: The vinyl surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and are unmarked - beautiful practically as-new record
VINYL Audio: Outstanding audio quality - clean, sharp, warm and vibrant sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing) there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps and barely any clicks or pops (really hardly any and in my experience it's very rare to find a copy which plays this well - there are many soft, practically silent passages commonly spoilt by excessive surface noise but here they play beautifully and quietly). This is a really clean pressing which plays to the highest standard throughout with all frequencies bright and clear, no groove-wear and no distortion (it's probably never been played) and is critically graded a strong NEAR MINT for audio - this is a really fantastic copy
SLEEVE: The fully laminated and deeply glossy sleeve is EXCELLENT+ with crisp, sharp and unworn edges and spine - where all text is clear and bold and only the lightest of rubbing to the laminated surfaces and a very minor light crease to the bottom edge otherwise, nothing much to fault it
INSERT: The lyric/info insert printed in red on one side of white paper is NEAR MINT with no marks - just some signs of light handling
