Description

This is a great Afro-Beat early Fela from 1971 I met Fela and got a few lps signed at the Riveria Theater in Chicago on 11/13/86 He did not always sign lp's and only certain ones at that. This was his second show after being released from prison on trumped up charges. i got to meet Femi and some wives and dancers, even shared a smoke with my hero. We Talked awhile and he was thrilled to hear I went on a FREE FELA NOW march in Amsterdam and sent postcards to the Minister of Lagos to FREE FELA NOW. I got to see him two more times and he gave me a Nigerian pressed LP ODOO but no signature.
