1971/UK/CBS 69009…..here’s a gorgeous original UK pressing of this rare lp, especially rare in this condition and complete with the large folded six panel poster. The gatefold cover is in M- condition, no splits, delete, etc, absolutely gorgeous! The vinyl is in M- like new unplayed condition. I have played it through once and it plays clean and quiet with awesome fidelity! The huge folded poster is clean and sharp with no wear but there are very minor light old tape stains on the white back but no damage from tape removal. Includes the cool original green custom printed CBS inner sleeve as well. A TOP copy of this rare UK prog gem! A trio formed from diverse musicians from other groups such as KING CRIMSON and RARE BIRD, which managed one sole album. FIELDS is named after Graham Field, founding member of RARE BIRD and was responsible for many of the better tracks of the first two albums. As for FIELDS, this is a keyboard-led trio with bassist Alan Barry singing but also playing guitars and adding some Mellotron lines. Rounding up that trio is Andy Mc McCullough who had played on KC's Lizard album and we will find him holding the drums stool for GREENSLADE later that year.

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
