I have a few records for sale from my collection. Here is another collectable.
FILLMORE THE LAST DAYS
FILLMORE US 1972
3LP box set with book, 45 and ticket.
Pretty special this one. I have owned it for over 30 years and loved every minute of it.
Three LPs of good music (labels have Fillmore logos), a 45 single - words with Bill Graham (not the evangelical), a thick 30 page book and a ticket from 1967 (if I remember rightly) advertising Pink Floyd among others. This ticket alone is a collectable in it's own right..... Pink Floyd.... 1967..... San Francisco... Wowie Zowie !!!!
Anyway, dreaming aside, here's who's on the records -

Hot Tuna - Keep your lamps trimmed and burnin', Santana - Incident at Neshabur, In a silent way. Taj Mahal, Elvin Bishop, Boz Scaggs and friends - We gonna rock, Long and tall, Final night jam session!
Right, back to dreaming... where's my Afghan coat !
The box is the only part of the lot that has suffered any serious damage. There are some splits along the edges and and about half of the bottom edge of the inner box is missing. Some writing inside the lid and general grubbiness here and there, etc. The book is in nice condition and the inner sleeves are in pretty good shape too. The ticket is in lovely condition, no creases etc.
Overall, the vinyls look great. I noticed a couple of light marks on one of the LPs, but if I remember to the last time I played this record about two months ago, there were no clicks etc. The vinyls sound real nice, a little background noise in the quiet parts to remind the listener this is vinyl and not a cd, but nothing serious and probably described as EX (often the background is close to cd quality). Apart from that once the music is running, the records sound close to perfect... if not perfect.
Overall, a lovely item.
