This is a rare copy of the 1972 triple LP set, Bill Graham presents in San Francisco Fillmore The Last Days featuring 14 San Francisco bands recorded over several nights to celebrate the closing of the Fillmore Ballroom. The bands include The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Hot Tuna and Santana. Amongst the more obscure San Francisco bands are Lamb, Cold Blood and The Sons Of Champlin, There isn't a bad track on the albums and it really is a superb momento of this era in music.
The albums come in a box and this includes a 28 page booklet, 70cm x 55cm poster. a replica ticket and 7" 33rpm single of an interview with Bill Graham that lasts 17 minutes.
I bought the set many years ago from The Book And Record Exchange in York.
The 3 albums are in a minimum of very good plus condition with a couple of hairline marks that do not affect sound quality and in reality they are probably nearer to excellent.
The 7" single is in near mint condition.
The poster is in very good plus condition - the only flaw being a 3cm split on the left-hand side of the centre fold.
The replica ticket is in near mint condition.
The 28 page booklet has superb photographs and history of The Fillmore and is in near excellent condition.
The outer box is a little bit grubby and has some damage to the top fold and right-hand fold but is generally in very good minus condition. The left-hand fold is clearly legible giving the album's catalogue number etc.
The record will be sent in a new record mailer with cardboard stiffener and posted by Royal Mail Second Class Signed For.
