This is ONE OF THE RAREST UK DIY PUNK / POWER POP / MOD single by the band FINGERS from 1979 , NEAR MINT ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This single is one of the rarest UK SRT DIY PUNK / POWER POP singles and I have only seen one other copy for sale in 32 years, AND HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET AN ORIGINAL NEAR MINT COPY !!!
This is a great and rare DIY PUNK / POWER POP single and gets a very high marks for rarity in Mario Panciera's excellent book "45 Revolutions" (3 and a half stars !!!), the band released only 2 singles on their own RATCHET RECORDS of which this one is the much rarer and better one.
The song "WE'RE ALRIGHT" is a great DIY PUNK / POWER POP cross over track which I love, while the track "SAINTS ALIVE" has a MOD feel which reminds me of THE SMALL FACES circa "OGDENS NUT GONE FLAKE" period !!!
This single is also signed on one of the labels by one of the band members.
The single came out on the band's own RATCHET RECORDS through the SRT PRESSING PLANT, catalogue number RAT 102 / S/79/CUS 445.
The songs are: SAINTS ALIVE / WE'RE ALRIGHT.
The single never came in a p/s and the condition of the VINYL is EX+ (PLAYED ONCE !!! one small mark on side 2 not effecting play).
