Hi, up for auction here is the vinyl version of the debut Firehouse L.P. album. Manufactured in the Netherlands (Holland) on the Epic Records label. Catalogue #  467441 1.

 I’m selling this on behalf of a friend who is the original owner and purchased it new in 1990/91. Unfortunately, neither of us have a working turntable at this moment, so I can’t test the album. He says the last time it was actually played was about 1992 and until recently, has been in storage since. 
As for the condition then, I’m a collector myself and pretty critical when rating items. Having said that, I can only do this ‘visually’, it does look pretty nice, but will definitely benefit with a good clean: Not a lot of ingrained dirt, but the odd finger print, etc. I’ve just given it a few blasts with my trusty old ‘Zerostat’ gun, that’s got rid of some static dust. My mate said he had a good Technics turntable/system back in the day and his album’s were treated with care. I can see some ‘wispy’ marks on side 2, and a very light mark/scratch on close inspection. Otherwise, it looks good; some light spindle marks, but both labels are clean and all print is intact with no smudging, fade, etc. Rated at a 7 out of 10.
The sleeve is in nice shape, with no rips/tears, creases or repairs. All three (3) solid sides have very little signs of wear to the edges, they’re very straight and clean. The only exception being the top centre, edge - there is a ’crack’ to the glossy finish. (NOT a split thankfully), It ’starts’ level with the ’H’ in the Firehouse logo on the front and ’ends’ mid-way to the letter ’O’ in the logo. Measures about 2” (5cm) overall, looking at the album straight on, this cannot be seen - it’s confined to the ’edge. The glossy cover has no ink loss, ring wear, etc. In fact, there’s barely an impression on the ’sleeve left by the record inside - the only exception being on the back left (open) edge. There’s also a very light half moon crease, directly below that. The opening edge has some light and slight burrs on the front and back, but none have caused ink loss, etc, as a result. All four (4) corners are sharp, the left & right bottom corners have a tiny amount of wear from storage. All titles, catalogue number, etc, are all intact and fully readable on the spine & top edge Overall rating is firm 7 out of 10.
Inner paper, logo/lyric sleeve is in good shape with quite a few finger creases to the top open edge on both sides from removing the record. Absolutely NO ink loss though thankfully. It’s made from semi gloss paper stock and is not poly lined. Good news continues that there are no ‘splits’ or signs of wear (through) on any of the three (3) solid sides. No repairs or felt pen/marker touch up’s either. As mentioned, all print, lyrics, etc, are fully intact with no fade, wear, etc. Rated again at a 7 out of 10.
There you have it, an excellent and strangely uncommon piece of early 1990’s vinyl for the Firehouse aficionado/collector.
