Offered here is a STILL SEALED, UNPLAYED rare early pressing of the Firehouse Five Plus Two Go to Sea on the Stereo Records label, in association with Good Time Jazz. This record is of particular interest to fans of Walt Disney and Disneyland, as the band is made up of Disney animation artists like Ward Kimball and Frank Thomas—two of Disney’s legendary “Nine Old Men”—as well as George Bruns and others. The animators formed a band in their time off and were fixtures at Disneyland in the park’s earliest days. Their records have become collector’s items in the years since their heyday, and finding an original Stereo Records pressing of this one is no easy feat. To score one that’s still sealed? Suffice it to say, if you’re a Disneyana collector, you won’t want to let this one slip past you, since there’s no telling when or even if you’ll ever find another one in this condition.
