Description
Firstly, greetings to all Kate Bush fans out there.
I remember buying this album on day of release like my other Kate Bush albums. The difference with this one is it has never been played, although it did make it as far as the turntable. To my utter dismay it had broken. Though I’m no expert I reckon this is probably about as close to being ‘mint’ condition as it is possible to get as the winning bidder will see. Realising that the CD was probably the future my record player was replaced with a CD player. I even tried to get a refund from the record store, but they refused so I ended up buying the CD as well. As a result this album has remained in a box in my loft until a recent clear out, and I had completely forgotten about it. Now it needs a more appreciative home. Sorry if I’ve bored you?
As you will see from the pictures the sleeves are not damaged at all and the disc is the same. The disc was removed (to the best of my memory for only the 2nd time) from the inner sleeve to obtain the codes, see below **.
The sleeve end reads from top to bottom – 7243 8 27277 12, The Red Shoes Kate Bush, EMD 1047.
** Stamped on the disc (in the run off areas) are – EMD 1047 A-1-1-1 (side 1) and EMD 1047 B-1-1-1 (side 2).
If anyone is wondering about the apparent mark just above 'Shoes' on the picture of the front cover it is not a blemish, but reflected light.
Given the advent of the CD I'm assuming there can't be many of these around?
