Call them what you like, the Nevada heavy metal contemporaries are more concerned with making as much noise as possible, rocketing to fame with the very of-the-time 2007 debut album, The Way of the Fist, which clocked up half-a-million unit sales in the US alone. Barely looking back, the follow ups War Is The Answer and American Capitalist went well beyond platinum, too, a record they pretty much kept up - give or take a gold or two - over another four LPs. Now recognised as one of the most successful heavy metal bands of the post-millennium years, a Best Of has long been on the cards. Bringing together some of their most potent tracks - from the jagged juggernauts and drum rolls of 'Life Me Up', through the somewhat more mainstream and acoustic tinged 'I Refuse', anthemic 'Coming Down', and lead-guitar masterclass 'Gone Away', this collection showcases an incredibly polished group doing what they do best - not least given the live recorded triptych to finish the lot, which proves how potent their shows are.
