Description

The Five Keys – On Aladdin, 45-3136. Hold Me / I Hadn’t Anyone Til You. This is an original 1952 issue. Trail-off etching reads 45-AL-3136-Q on side A, and 45-AL-3136-X on the B side. There’s also what appears to be an upper case D inside a small circle. No delta number.

Condition

Hold Me side (up tempo dance doo wop) – Very Glossy, has scuffs when viewed under light but nothing you feel. At first glance it looks pristine but in the right light I give it a conservative VG. Plays with faint crackle that disappears at times. No skips, sticks, or loud pops. Crackle is not overpowering and the record is very enjoyable. Label shows faint wear but still very nice.

I Hadn’t Anyone Til You side ( doo wop ballad) – Very Glossy. Exact condition as side A, but plays even better with only occasional faint crackle. Label is gorgeous.

PAYMENT – I prefer Money Orders, but will also take PayPal. Payment must be received within 7 days after the close of auction. If you’re unable to pay on time, “Don’t Bid”.

U.S. BIDDERS – Shipping is $2 for media mail anywhere in the continental U.S. I always combine winning bids to reduce shipping charges. Insurance is optional but highly recommended, especially on this one. I’m not responsible for packages once they’re shipped.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS – There are too many variables in international shipping, so I’ll quote shipping after the auction closes. Send me an email if you have questions about a specific destination.
