Description
Hello. Let me say at the outset this is not the actual record from the 50s that is so rare! However, this is the original recording of both songs by the original group. It is #08 of eight individual lathe recordings and is being offered here to you as a very nice addition to your collection. It's probably as close to the real thing as you can get. It looks great, sounds nostalgically great and feels like a 1952 78 RPM record when removing it from its' specially made sleeve. I'm grading the record M- because I don't believe any 78 should be graded any higher (due to superficial marks, etc.) which, although do not affect play, are still noticed visually. Included in this limited edition of only eight hand prepared sets is a copy of a poster from the movie "Stormy Weather." There is also an insert and some information about the group. As a bonus, the record is presented in an original Jubilee sleeve, hard to find in good condition. It's repaired but original, included to enhance the presentation. A clear plastic slipcover is added for protection. Some more surprises will be offered here next week so please check back again.Thanks for looking and let's keep this 50s R&B sound going!
