IMPOSSIBLY RARE PSYCH PROG - Perhaps best known as the first ever LP to feature a pre Genesis Phil Collins on the drums, AND it has easily one of THE coolest sleeves I've EVER seen!!! It's a laminated multifold sleeve with like a stained-glass mural style window on the front that also is displayed on the other side too, where the picture reverses!!! It really is an AWESOME effect!!!
This LP absolutely bombed - the grand production of the music and this VERY lavish sleeve cost Fontana a LOT of money to put together, so to try and stop the MASSIVE loss they were incurring, it was immediately deleted and first replaced with a cheaper unlaminated version (sales picked up a little, but the damage was done), and then reissued AGAIN in a standard no-frills white gatefold sleeve!!! And within mere months of release!!! All of which results in this EXTREMELY special day-of-release laminated mural window sleeve TRUE UK 1st Press becoming one of THE very rarest and sought after Fontana LP's out there!!!
And if that wasn't enough, it's in FANTASTIC shape and it sounds OUTSTANDING!!! Sold virtually zero and is IMPOSSIBLY hard to find, especially in such AWESOME condition!!! Don't miss out on this ULTRA cool Prog artefact - bid now!!!
About : Ultra Rare Original 1969 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! An absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! The Vinyl is in MINT!!! condition with jet black mirror like surfaces that have that just pressed look!!! With NO scratches ,marks or blemishes at all, has NO very tiny feint lines visible even when held under a strong lamp!!LOOKS absolutley UNPLAYED!!!
The Labels are as near as MINT!!! With just the odd Very minor spindle line visible
The Sleeve is in EXCELLENT++ condition with just the odd very mild laminate crease and storage wear to the edges and corners the spine is perfectly straight and clearly legible
Comes 100% complete with the original plain white inner in VERY GOOD++ unsplit condition
