Description

Here is a super rare original 1968 pressing on the Fleetwood label (FCLP 3027) from the Flat Earth Society titled "Waleeco".

Recorded at Boston's Fleetwood studios, 1968's "Waleeco" was simply great - one of those few albums that lives up to the hype surrounding it.  Featuring largely original material, the band displayed far more professionalism and versatility than one would have expected from a relatively new outfit.  While the majority of the set reflected a distinctive psychedelic orientation, elsewhere the quintet showed off decent folk-rock moves (When You Were There) as well as a knack for conventional rock (Four & Twenty Miles and Shadows).  Still the set's big charm lay in the band's psychedelic leanings.

The cover is in very strong vg+ to vg++ condition - very light wear on the corners, very light wear on the bottom seam, and light shelf wear on the back.  The front cover looks beautiful with barely noticable shelf wear.  Side A of the record is in beautiful nm condition, with one exception - the first song on side A has a visible light stain through 2/3 of the song which causes light static as the needle comes through, with a few light pops.  Side B of the record is in vg+ to vg++ condition - there is light static at the beginning of the first song, and there is light static through the first 3/5 of the side, along with several light pops, and the final 2/5 of the side sounds great.  There are absolutely NO SKIPS, and the fidelity is awesome!  The labels look great, but there is a small 1/4" blemish on the side A label.

I know this is a very rare album, and I try to be as accurate with my grading as possible for collectors of rare items like this.  Please take note of the comments in my eBay feedback and you will see that my grading is very fair.

Optional delivery confirmation is offered for 75 cents.  Optional insurance is $1.75, but I can not be responsible for items that are lost or damaged that are not insured.

When I ship a package internationally, I will NOT enter a value greater than $20 on the customs slip unless you request it.  International post offices charge an additional fee for you to pick up your package if the value exceeds $20.  It's terribly unfair for you to have to pay more to your post office after you've already paid for shipping.
