Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... THE VINYL MINT- INCREDIBLE CONDITION
As you can see, this vinyl is the ORIGINAL UK PRESSING pressing -NOT A EUROPEAN COPY
Stored from new this LP has seen one play POSSIBLY Two!! , and remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen!!
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
One tiny spider line around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.
There is barely a hint of any whisp lines & thats it- nothing else! There is a few light dust flecs on the vinyl where the LP has not been outside the sleeve for decades- Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.
On playing through there was hardly a hint of any lead in static, and no pops, skips or unwanted noises anywhere..a A STUNNING listen.
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct UK LOW GLOSS FINISH SLEEVE first issued earliest sleeve with SQUARE SPINE
AND PROMO GOLD FOIL STAMP IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER
This is straight out the box from 1982 - incredible condition , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of stunning condition..
The edges are all super clean with no real traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!
No powdery white ringwear & just some very light ring press, and all edges are super crisp.
A couple of tiny pin spots of rub and the tiniest of tip rub
A light crease runs on the bottom front diagonally for around 4 " - and there is the lightest of white rub on the top back seam..hardly noticeable.
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no feathering .
The spine edge has a couple of tiny little rub spots on the ends
a couple of tiny incidental spider lines over the edges.
WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB..

Original card lyric inner with thumb scoop..immaculate no damage or scissoring, the tiniest of ring press on the top.
