you can tell a mono pressing by checking the prefexes.stereo pressings have "A7AC" prefexes but the mono pressings have the 7-63205 stamp mark
there are very few mono issues of "mr wonderfull" in circulation. i can not be certain but it looks as if they only ran a small quantity of the mono pressing and then concentrated on the stereo pressing from then on making the mono pressing extremely rare.this was the second lp released by fleetwood mac in 1968.this original blue horizon copy is not a mint copy but after being professionally cleaned it plays real well.there is the odd cackle and pop on some tracks and there is visable light scratch marks on the record but they do not make the record skip,jump or repeat at all.
this is a collectors item for fans of the early fleetwood mac with the so obvious peter green influence all over it.a better blues album from the time would be very hard to find.
the cover is in very good but not excellent condition but lets be fair it is 49 years old and a mint cover would be very hard to find(but not impossible) although a mint cover would be a little suspicious don't you think?
i have been as open and honest as i possible could be.
in my opinion this is a gem of a find and the starting price of £20 is a lot less than some greedy sellers are asking for.be honest now, how often do mono copies of this album appear on ebay for £20?
i am going to put the postage price as £4 but would ask the winning bidder to consider paying for the record to be insured.
